Something for the Bank Holiday weekend…

The long weekend is almost upon us and the weather may be a bit hit and miss (we’re hoping mostly a hit!), but we know we’ll all be making the most of not having to get up early on Monday (kids permitting) and join the race for work / school. Here’s a look at this week’s little treasures we’ve discovered.

The sun has made a bit of an appearance so already we’re thinking of Summer dresses which may need to be wardrobe additions. We love this Next number. Relaxed and perfect with a bit of a tan.

Little Hotdog Watson is a new brand started by a mum who wanted good quality sunhat for kids which were also fun and stylish. The hats themselves have an SPF50, Citronella protect finish to help keep insects at bay which lasts up to 30 washes (and has tested for safety on babies and children) and it has been made using a Smart Fabric which controls your little ones head temperature. Perfect for the onset of Summer.

With Half Term here as well as the Bank Holiday, Jennie Maizels has a competition for all budding junior artists. She gives a guide of how to enter on her blog here and the winner gets a beautiful set of colouring pencils and some sketchbooks ready to fill on a Summer Holiday. It will encourage your minis, however old they are to think about their day and maybe develop focus time whilst being fun.
