Something for weekend…

We are now officially in Winter time-wise with the clocks going back last weekend but we have been treated to some glorious days. We hope your week has matched the bright sunshine…if not, grab a cuppa (or large Gin & Tonic), sit back and take a gander at what we’ve had our eye on this week.

2017 is looming! Scary indeed. And in a bid to become more organised, we start to think about annual and weekly planners. Georgie has made a start by getting this rather lovely Yearly wall planner for the year ahead. The design with the gold foil adds a bit of glamour to what is essentially being a family Personal Assistant. Katie has bought the Pastel Weekly Planner version for the last few years and loves it. As life gets slightly hectic and messy, the weekly version means that should the weeks scribblings get a little chaotic, you can tear off the page and start again, all fresh and clean for the next week ahead – suits Katie’s lifestyle to a tee! Both available at Lollipop Designs.

More gold but this time for party feet. Boden always does a good shoe and this one is no exception. Katie has ordered the black version that should hopefully be a little more wearable beyond the festive season – Georgie on the other hand is a gold fan, so these are on her wishlist. Available here.

Yet more gold…and more shoes; from the Zara Girls section (but they go up to a size 6…just saying…). Available here.

We have been big fans of Ingela P Arrhenius for a long time. Harriet’s playroom wall is covered in her prints, we love her memo games and her melamine plates brighten any children’s tea table. A new collaboration from Omm Designs Ingela P Arrhenius are these light box pictures and designs. Lots of fun. They will make the erect addition to Georgie’s boys’ light boxes. Available at The Pippa & Ike Show here (as well as the light boxes).

Lala & Bea bobble hats

There is a definite chill in the air now and with that comes layering with scarves, gloves and a wooly hat. These designs from Lala & Bea have a nod to the Nordic style which we love teamed with pops of colour to make spotting your little one as they dash off on their adventures a lot easier! Katie’s pick would have to be the Grey Polka Dot with Neon Oraange Pom Pom for Harriet. Just adorable! Available here.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Muse

We are big fans of Charlotte Tilbury, especially her eyeshadow palettes. For the festive season she has launched a new palette named “Legendary Muse” in soft golds and pinks. A perfect Christmas present idea or treat to yourself. Available here.

Georgie was sent some little Christmas craft boxes by Buttonbug and Harry asked if he could have a go. They say they are for age 7 and up but Harry is nearly 5 and with some help, he really loved getting involved. Maybe good Advent Calendar fillers? Available here.

Another little Christmas gift idea are these cute hairbands from Glammrags. They would be a perfect addition to a girl’s or mum’s advent calendar or stocking. Available here.

Kit & Caboodle party kits

If you are planning a party, head on over to Kit & Caboodle as they currently have a sale on. Georgie has been sent the Galaxy party box and she can say, hand on heart, she was so impressed by the quality and thought which had gone into putting the theme together. She is now planning party food ready for the “do” in a few weeks! See here for more details.

Georgie met the Founder of Panda & Ping, Pippa on the school run (it’s amazing how many mummies are #mumbosses) and they immediately hit it off (mainly due to their almost unhealthy love of all things fashion). The sleepwear produced by Panda & Ping is super soft and of such good quality. The label specialises in bright fun colours and prints but they also make simpler prints and this “Ringo” print (still circus themed…we love a circus), has the fabulous pop of red on the cuffs. Available here.

As party season is within touching distance we are looking out for some party wear which looks a bit “Swit Swoo” but which we feel comfortable in. This top from Baukjen ticks the boxes. Slouchy, cool, off the the shoulder but loose enough to hide a “I’ve had too many canapés” tummy. Available here.
