Part of the reason we started minis AND MORE was to find and introduce new brands and labels. More often than not, we discover Mums are getting out there and starting something new and re-defining what the image of a “stay at home” mum is. Often, they are working after the little ones have gone to bed or snatched moments during the day (maybe during a kid’s swimming lesson or nap). Luxe in the Country is one such brand. Luxe in the Country is an online magazine created by an already busy Mum of two boys who wanted to show that glamour can still exist outside of London yet you can also still embrace country living. The online magazine offers inspiration in fashion, interiors and lifestyle.
The founder and Editor, Sophie Stone, has an impeccable eye for all things divine and want-worthy. She aims the magazine as parents like herself,
“I launched Luxe in the Country having moved out of London with my born and bred country husband, two wonderfully energetic boys and pug, Pebble. I found a lack of relevant websites catering for a city girl living in the country looking for good quality fashion and lifestyle products combined with a focus on country life.”
We particularly love her collaboration with Interior Designer Lucy Marsh Design to bring “Wallpaper Wednesday“…a whimsical look at how to create an impact in your home. Other highlights include her introduction of “Plucking Fabulous“, who produce beautiful feather wreaths (plus the name makes it worth a mention alone), the Troy Trilby (great for bad hair days!) and a focus on Mojo & McCoy who not only stock our favourite, Wyse Cashmere, but prove you can find London-led fashion without having to head into the capital.
To make it easier than ever to shop Sophie’s curated picks, she has an online boutique making finding the products she recommends easy whilst often offering exclusive discounts to make any purchase that bit easier.
Whilst we are running our ‘Life’s Little Luxuries”competition in which you can win everything pictured above (see here for details on how to enter), we though we would ask Sophie who her dream Christmas guest would be and what she considers “Life’s Little Luxuries”…
I’ve been relatively good this year so fingers crossed…….”
