Ruffles and frills are adorning all manner of clothes at the moment. They can be a bit intimidating but you might just surprise yourself if you give in, and try them…just with some styles, make sure you’re not having soup for lunch…messy…
Printed shirt with ruffles by H&M – this shirt has a touch of Gucci about it and is basically fabulous for the price.
Frilled top by Zara – a soft silhouette is created with this top. Not overly structured which makes it ideal if you don’t want something too obvious.
Ruffle sleeve knit by Marks & Spencer – there are only selected sizes available online but I have seen all sizes available in stores locally so it’s worth a look as it’s super soft and flattering.
Ruffle sleeve cardigan by Top Shop – a truly relaxed version of the ruffle trend, this cardigan would add oomph to skinny jeans, a T-shirt and trainers. Bringing the “mum uniform” bang up to date.
Ruffle blouse by Karl Largerfeld – gorgeous for day or evening, the simple white shirt is given clean, modern ruffle detail. This would work beyond the SS17 trend.
High neck ruffle detail jumper by Vera Moda – a good option if you’re not too sure about the whole ruffle “thing”.
Frill hem oversized shirt by ASOS WHITE – this has a boho feel about it and could be styled with denim shorts, although it would work equally well smartened up with leather skinnies.
Animal print ruffle blouse by Somerset by Alice Temperley – there is nothing I don’t love about this top…so, so tempted…
Low court shoe with frill by H&M – these give a hint to the frill trend without giving a full on nod.
