The trend of dark floral dresses is popping up everywhere. A good transitional trend which can be layered with tights, polo neck sweaters, boots and a leather jacket in the colder months whilst as they are with ballet pumps or trainers as the temperatures rise. Here is a selection of dresses which have caught my eye in the shops and online at the moment.
Floral printed chiffon dress by Sandro – available at The Ounet with a huge 50% off this dress is the perfect modern boho choice.
Floral print shirt dress by Marks & Spencer – this dress is a smart option with a slim silhouette and slightly retro style.
Boho long sleeve maxi dress by Denim & Supply Ralph Lauren – I love this dress. Just the right amount of floaty-ness without being over the top.
Long dress with floral print by Zara – this colourful floral print against the black makes a slightly bolder statement without being too over the top.
Long dress with baroque print by Maje – a sophisticated print and style. This would work as styled above with heels or even try simple black and white Nike trainers for a casual look.
Shirt dress with belt by H&M – this is a dress which is as on trend as you can get. Dark floral and zebra print is perfect for SS17…and who can resist a bit of animal print?…not me!
Floral print flowy dress by Mango – what drew me to this dress was the large wild rose print. Not sickly or too overpowering yet it still makes a subtle statement.
Floral embroidered midi dress by Top Shop – the lacing detail at the neck plus the embroidery makes a lovely addition.
Black floral print funnel neck dress by New Look – this is a perfect option for work with the Spring inspired cherry blossom. Team with a black blazer and ankle boots and you’re ready to go.
Asymmetric silk crepe dress by Saloni – this is definitely an occasion dress. Such a flattering cut and gorgeous jewel-like colours against the dark background.
Meadow dress by & Other Stories – this dress won’t be for everyone but the print is pure joy during these Winter days.
Fleur fitted dress by Boden – this is a good lunch date / wedding guest design with a bright red to add a bit of colour.
