I wrote a post on The Reach London last year as they were launching their luxury pyjama collection. The Reach London is a mother and daughter team who are passionate about quality, supporting British design and manufacture and who are showing how women, if they set their mind to something, achieve their dreams…however big, however small.
Their designs were based on classical, timeless pyjama styles and made with Pima cotton lawn which has long fibres to produce a finish similar to silk but with the harder wearing and more durable features associated with cotton (a must for mums, surely?).
Liberty prints and high end cotton twill are used to create a collection which is as beautiful to look at as it is to wear.
I received my pyjamas a couple of weeks ago. I have to admit, I thought they would be the usual baggy style of pyjamas cut to be exceptionally loose. However, when I tried them on I was amazed at how flattering a silhouette they gave. I was not swamped in fabric but it was loose enough to feel comfortable in when sleeping or effortlessly lounging about in (because there’s always time for that with two boys…maybe sitting on the floor of a Sunday morning building a Brio track is a more accurate description!).
These pyjamas would make such a beautiful Valentine’s Day or Mother’s Day gift…along with a morning in bed to read a book. If you’re tempted, you can find out more about The Reach London and purchase their pyjamas here.
