My boys love building things. If it’s a toy which can be put together to create something exciting and new to play with, they are all over it. So, when I was sent the Miclik set by Toyella for the boys to road test, I already knew it would be a winner.
Miclik’s bright, colourful, sturdy plastic pieces act like hinges which can be attached to one another to create a variety or shapes and designs. This lets your kid’s imagination run wild. Do they want to make an animal, vehicle, house or create a costume to become a knight, spaceman or princess? The possibilities are endless.
Harry and Teddy were drawn to the “action” pieces which could be built with the system. Knight’s swords and astronaut’s laser beam bracelets were the first things which had to be constructed. First the swords were made and then off out to do battle. As I’m sure you’ll agree, the most noble looking of knights you have ever seen…
Harry was then tasked with creating the astronaut laser wrist pieces ready to track down and attack and aliens which had dared to land in our garden.
The brains behind Toyella have also noticed that the Miclik nodules are the same size as a hole punched hole adding another dimension to play – making signs or adding walls to a building.
The Miclik set is the perfect answer to stopping the “Mummy, I’m bored” moan. The kids become engrossed for ages in constructing and then playing with what they have built. We are firm fans in this house. You can purchase the Miclik set here at Toyella (whilst you’re there, check out their other toys…they have been my go-to online shop for toys and gifts for a while now!).
I was gifted the Miclik set by Toyella in return for an honest review. Although this post is sponsored, all thought, opinions and words are my own.
