Have you ever been as silly as me and take the kids out to get a few things for their wardrobe? If not, don’t ever, ever try. When I have made an attempt it usually results the boys thinking its hilarious to crawl under the clothes rails, run off in separate directions and look under changing room curtains (before I had kids, I was one of those hideous people who couldn’t fathom how a mum couldn’t simply hold their little one’s hand to control them…how ignorant was I??). Shortstitch is definitely the answer to the horrendous-ness that is going out in public, to the shops with Harry and Teddy. It is a personal shopping service for kids clothing delivered directly to your door.
Shortstitch allows you to look through outfits and clothing in the comfort of your home without the stress of carrying shopping bags and controlling kids at the same time. I have used this service before (see here) and loved the pieces they chose. They seem to be able to really understand what you are looking for whether it be for a general new season wardrobe, holiday wardrobe or special occasion wardrobe.
I asked for Shortstitch to send through some Summer pieces ready for when the sun hits us (and for holidays) for both Harry and Teddy. As before, the collection I received did not disappoint. They curate a collection which can be easily mixed and matched creating a complete wardrobe option.
For both the boys, Shortstitch had included pieces which would work for both holidays abroad and Summer holidays at home. The quality of the brands they have chosen to work with is beautiful. Soft cottons, fabulous finishing details and designs you know you would not be able to find on the highstreet.
I was amazed that Teddy even tried on a hoodie! It was super soft and not at all restrictive or stiff which Teddy finds irritating about other hoodies I have tried in the past.
The service delivered by Shortstitch was beyond fabulous. As before, the quality and pieces chosen made me feel as though they had really listened to what I was looking for.
To try this service, you fill out a simple questionnaire and they send (for FREE) a “Box of Yay!” with the goodies lovingly packed inside. You go through the collection, try on and send back or keep what you want. You pay no extra over the usual price for the items.
I have purchased a few pieces from the “Box of Yay!” for both boys. I discovered with the purchases I made from my last box, that they have been of such good quality they have lasted brilliantly and cost per wear have worked out really reasonably priced I feel. If you wish to try this service, you can find out more here.
