mums fashion | Metallics

This may sound ridiculous, but I consider metallics a neutral base. So many colours can be combined with gold, silver, bronze and copper tones. They also make the everyday appear a bit more interesting and are an easy way to make sure a night out shines. Here are a few pieces which I am loving at the moment.

Metallic fashion

Metallic Jacquard Slim Leg Trousers by Marks & Spencer – of a subtle way to add a metallic touch to your outfit, these trousers are a good choice.

Metallic fashion

Metallic Pleated Skirt by Hush – this gorgeous bronze skirt looks fab with a slouchy black knit and boots or team with a black lace camisole and leather jacket for evening.

metallic fashion

Alexis Trousers by Hush – another Hush piece but I have these so can confidently say I love them! I currently wear the waistband below my bump but they are ready for when the little one makes and appearance.

Metallic fashion

Livy Star Tee by Baukjen – sparkle and shine everyday in this easy to wear long sleeved tee.

Metallic fashion

Catch the Wind Metallic Skirt by Free People – the metallic of this skirt looks almost fluid and I adore the style of it here with soft suede boots and a chunky knit.

metallic fashion

Shimmering Metallic Sweater by H&M – I like the idea of how the knit has been styled here with camel coloured relaxed trousers or get evening ready with skinny black trousers and heels.

Metallic fashion

Metallic Pleated Skirt by Reserved – another pleated skirt but in a pinky/silver tone. The price is great (£19.99) if you are unsure of the metallic look but want to give it a go.

metallic fashion

“Pretty Baby” knit by J Brand x Bella Freud – team this with the Hush pleated skirt for your party look with the gold embroidery.

metallic fashion

Skinny jeans by Zara – I had a similar pair from Zara from last year but in gold and I wore them constantly over Christmas. Team with a navy knit to tone down the bling.

Metallic fashion

Gold Stiletto Court Shoes by Marks & Spencer – these feature the “insolia” padding in the shoe. Other stiletto courts I purchased from Marks & Spencer with this insole have proved comfortable so these shiny beauties should no doubt be the same.

metallic fashion

Blush Gold Trainers by Converse – add some sparkle to your everyday school run or weekend downtime with these Converse classics.

metallic fashion

Brogue Detail Chelsea Boot by Next – this cracked silver leather tones down the metallic look so its not too over the top.
