There is no doubt about it, kids LOVE an Easter egg hunt. The chance to find treats hidden around the garden makes for a fun activity which gets kids out and about and allows for plenty of fun and games.
With the weather so gorgeous on Sunday I thought I’d put on an Easter egg hunt for the boys (they missed out on one at our local park due to our lack or organisation!).
Armed with my Meri Meri Easter egg hunt kit (available here), my Pirates and Violets basket full of treats (available here) and the cutest Hollyhock Home bunny print bag for the boys to collect their finds in (available here), I set off hiding the eggs ready for the boys who were eager to start the hunt.
Armed with their Hollyhock Home bag they were off, finding the clues left behind with the help of the Meri Meri kit and collecting the eggs in they bag.
After the eggs had been divided up carefully by Harry in the safety of their treehouse, there was only one thing left to do…devour the chocolate treats inside the eggs. Happy days!
The smiles on the boys’ faces, the enjoyment and laughter were contagious. In my heady state (it must have been the thrill at seeing a day of sunshine combined with the boys’ adorable smiles), I promised to organise another Easter egg hunt but this time with some friends (best start stocking up on the choccy bunnies then!).
We were gifted the Hollyhock Home bag however all other items, views and styling are my own.
