A Few of my Favourite Things | March

It’s been a while since my last post and it’s hard to believe we are over half way through April. Easter has been and gone, the kids are back at school and the old routine starts again. With hints of Spring and the odd day of glorious sunshine I hope we will all get to make the most of these few wonderful days.

It may be late (by a few weeks!), but here are my favourite things from March…which I am still loving!

Trinny London

BFF Skin Perfector by Trinny London – oh my goodness. This tube of magic is truly amazing. It has an SPF which doesn’t break me out in spots, somehow manages to make my skin look more relaxed and glowy and means my everyday makeup routine has been made easy-peasy. If you haven’t tried Trinnt London’s BFF Cream, you MUST! Available here.

Boden

Swimsuit by Boden – post-hottie, I am a little bit lumpy and bumpy so for our Easter holidays I purchased this swimsuit from Boden. It gently helps to improve the tummy area, it doesn’t cut in around the bottom area and (a real bonus for me), it comes in a long body length as regular swimsuits tend to cut/ride up in all the wrong places!!!! It’s super flattering and I would love to get it in another pattern. Available here.

SPF50Mineral SPF50 by Heliocare – this sunscreen has been perfect for the ski and sun holidays we were lucky enough to go on over the Easter break. In the clear skies and sunshine of Whistler and the heat of Bermuda, this mineral SPF50 did not react to my skin, has a slight radiance to it and was even gentle enough to use on the boys. A holiday must have! Available here.

Boden

Half-Zip Sweatshirt by Boden – I purchased the boys one of these sweatshirts in different colours for travelling. They have a soft lining and with the bright rainbow colours made them easy to spot in the airport. Perfect for running about in, they wash brilliantly and will definitely be staycation packing essentials. Available here.

Inventors Card Game by History Heroes – we took this card game away with us and Harry LOVED it. There are different themes in the History Heroes series and the Inventors one was perfect for Harry. At 6, he was a little too young to play the game fully but he loves facts and figures and the cards each featured an inventor and details given about that particular inventor. Unsurprisingly, Teddy now knows that the Fry family invented the chocolate bar…a fact he will not be forgetting in a hurry! Available here.

Idaho Jones London

Gallivant backpack by Idaho Jones London – this backpack was a lifesaver on our long haul travels. It is so so roomy with pockets for everything. It fitted in not only Hettie’s clothes, nappies, wipes bottles and formula (6 feeds) but also a change of clothes for me (in case Hettie was ill), a Kindle, magazine, notebooks, sunglasses, lotions and potions and travel documents. It is out of stock until July but if you know someone who is having a baby or has a large brood this backpack is ideal. Strong with gold hardware, it looks stylish as well as being practical. Available here.

Hush joggers

Amie Joggers by Hush – these jersey joggers are flattering yet the comfiest travel outfit. I teamed mine with a white tee and jersey blazer and scarf for a hassle free flight. They are smart enough to wear during the day with a vest or cami and denim or utility jacket without looking sporty. Available here.
