I’ll be honest, for the royal wedding, I had intentions to watch as Meghan Markle walked into the church to see “the dress” and then get on with the day. However, I found myself settling down, a non-alcoholic Pina Colanda in hand (the three kids still required looking after!) and watching the whole thing…with a cheeky glimpse of the highlights later that day…oh, and sneaking my parent’s Sunday supplement royal wedding special to look at.
I loved how the wedding had a modern feel set within very ancient traditions. Meghan, a thoroughly modern lady opted for a no makeup, makeup look which felt fresh and in keeping with a more laid back (can a royal wedding ever be classed as laid back??) approach to her big day.
I am a huge fan of the no makeup, makeup look, mainly because I don’t often have the time to do anything more than a 5 minute face so I feel where Meghan has trod, others will follow and this oh-so natural look will be the way forward (plus, with Summer approaching now is the time to embrace it). With that in mind, here are some products which may help achieve skin which is a bit more glowing, eyes that bit brighter and lips a bit more polished.
