Last week I was sent a press release for Organic Zoo. If I open the files of such releases and immediately want to purchase some pieces whether it be for the kids or myself, I realise I must write about the brand and spread the love.
Organic Zoo was set up in 2010 after the Founder saw the dirty conditions some kids’ clothing was being made in after a trip to visit the factories in Asia. The decision was made to produce pieces made in an ethical way which promoted enhanced cultural relations.
The collection only uses 100% organic cotton which is not only kinder for the environment but is also gentle on a baby’s delicate skin as it is toxic free. Even the dyes used are OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified dyes. This basically means they have been tested for certain toxins and nasties – you can find out more here.
The muted palette which still offers splashes of mustard yellow, navy blue and soft forest green mean the pieces can be easily mixed and matched and handed down from one sibling to another whether they be a little boy or girl.
You can find out more about the brand and purchase from the collection here.
