I admit, jumpsuits fill some people with dread/horror/amusement/a mixture of all three. However, I love a jumpsuit. Usually too comfortable for words (a grown up once but more acceptable in public), brilliant if you’re dealing with kids as there is no bare midriff or a flash of knickers when bending over to pick up a little person and they can look as though you’ve made a bit of an effort when no effort is actually required. Due to my adoration of a jumpsuit I purchased recently I thought I would put together some options I think would work well throughout Summer.
Striped Jumpsuit by Zara – I purchased this the other week and had chance to wear it over the Bank Holiday weekend. What can I say, it’s perfect. The material is lovely and cool, there are straps so it can be worn with a bra and the ruffle option is perfect for those which (ahem…) may want to balance out the top and bottom halves of their bodies – those pear shaped lovelies like myself!
S/S Playsuit by Hush – I got this for our holiday to Bermuda. The print is fab for bright sunny days, it can be worn with heels or sandals for day of evening options and is a style which should suit everyone.
Martha Relaxed Jumpsuit by Baukjen – I saw this when I went to have a sneak peak at the Baukjen SS18 collection and loved it when I saw it then. It is now available to buy and is a cute Summer holiday piece for throwing over a bikini before a long leisurely lunch.
Linen Blend Jumpsuit by Mango – I’m picturing a straw hat and sandals with this jumpsuit as you head to the open air marché for the day’s supplies of brie, baguette and the all important vin.
Tomato Bandeau Jumpsuit by Mint Velvet – a sleek, smart option for a night out.
Fluid Jumpsuit by Arket – this could be styled as is with crisp white trainers or can be smartened up as a work option for a change to trousers to top.
Off the Shoulder Jumpsuit by H&M x Anna Glover – I saw this in store and thought it would be great for an upcoming holiday. Teamed with gold sandals for the evening and a rafia clutch and you’re good to go.
Halterneck Jumpsuit by Mikoh – if Hettie wasn’t going to be in the first throes of weaning when we head off on our Summer holiday this would have been winging it’s way to me but a white jumpsuit with Hettie covered in carrot puree is a bad idea…otherwise it’s perfect!
