Hasn’t this month been glorious? The sun automatically makes everything that bit lovelier and everyone that bit more smiley. It has meant dressing couldn’t be easier – one piece, a dress and you’re done, ready to go! Fingers crossed this gorgeous Summer continues.
Hopefully you’re enjoying a glass of rose, sitting back and relaxed ready to have a little read of what I’ve loved in June.
This adorable romper by Mon Bebe is made of soft, lightweight cotton and is so comfy for little ones to wear. It is on sale at the moment here. Hettie has worn her’s so much and she also has the grey one. We team them with the cute Liewood socks available here. Who could resist them??
I am not sure I should really be sharing this as it’s my secret weapon when having people over for supper. this book is packed with recipes which 1. taste yummy 2. aren’t too tricky and 3. can be made ahead of time meaning you don’t have to panic just before guests arrive. Its AMAZING. You need it in you life! Available here.
I have received lots of really lovely compliments about the above H&M dress. Sadly I couldn’t find it online for you but I do know they have it in some stores still. The pale blue has the added pop of neon pink thread detailing running through it. If you can’t find it, this blue dress looks equally beautiful for a Summer’s day.
The Wave Spray by Ouai was a re-purchase after loving it last year. In Summer I get too hot drying my hair so I often leave it to dry naturally. I have wavy hair which tends to frizz and this spray leaves it soft and less crazy looking. Perfect for holidays, it’s available here. I have also heard great things about the hair mousse too so it’s on my “Want” list, available here!
We’ve had a few dinner parties this month and this Zara jumpsuit has been my go-to outfit, available here. It makes me appear a bit more (ahem…) “blessed” on top, skims my thighs and has the lace panelling which makes it look more expensive than it is.
War Child has persuaded some fabulous designers to create a collection of T-shirts to help support the charity’s efforts. The one I am wearing is designed by Bella Freud. They are £25 with around 25% of the sale going to the charity. Available here.
Teddy was given a book on airplanes and airports, available here. Both boys have been totally mesmerised by it as it is interactive with flaps to lift, tabs to pull and spin and facts to find. There is a whole series of these books and they make wonderful birthday presents or books for long journeys. Available here. We also then purchased the Ultimate Book on Space for our galaxy loving eldest, available here.
