Tocoto Vintage is a kids clothing label which designs pieces for boys and girls from 0 to twelve. The inspiration for the brand came from the founder, Marta Navarro holidaying with her family on the Baleric island of Formrntera. There she discovered old patterns and vintage clothing from the local antique markets which has been translated into Tocoto Vintage’s nostalgic cuts and silhouettes coupled with a romantic feel.
AW18 sees The Secret Garden collection providing a childhood world of wonder with muted, soft colours, delicate floral prints, sumptuous materials with wool, velvet and corduroy being layered with tulle, lace and vintage denim.
The collection for babies is simply exquisite. Little bonnets finish off outfits made up on simple ruffles, rompers and colours to make you think of early Autumnal colours and faded flowers.
The pieces for girls are soft, almost toasted colours mixed with contrasting materials which create interesting layers and styles which let kids be kids without being too girly. The unisex coats which can be also worn by the boys provide a cosy warmth for adventures beyond The Secret Garden.
The designs for boys are well designed and combine together to create the ultimate AW wardrobe for your little one. They transcend fashions and will be timeless pieces which can be passed onto siblings. I particularly love the warm ochre and dark denim.
Tocoto Vintage is truly a collection to draw you in completely with its seemingly cool, effortless designs which are all so beautifully finished. You an find out more about the brand and make a little purchase here.
