Now, this is going to prove to be an unpopular statement I’m sure but….I actually prefer Autumn/Winter clothes to Summer clothes. I love the idea of layering soft, cosy fabrics, ankle boots are simply put, a joy and most of you know my almost obsessive love of cashmere. Need I go on? So, when I received an email linking me to Hush’s new release for AW18, my heart may have skipped a little beat. There is so much I have my eye on and here are just some of my favourites (otherwise you’d be here all day!).
Anya Long Coat – Nothing brightens up a Winter’s day like a red coat. It goes well with so many colours and even clashing it with pink can look good.
Ziggy Jumper – I think this will be really popular. The star design is always a winner and you can never have too many grey knits!
Tansy Dress – coloured animal print is set to be big this coming season and this teal leopard print is spot on (excuse the pun!).
Ursula Maxi Dress – more animal print. AW18 is not simply about leopard print and this zebra print maxi dress would look great with a belt or with a knit thrown over it.
Emanuelle Dress – I have a maxi dress from Hush AW17 in this navy and gold fabric and I love it. This style of dress is so easy to wear and hides any lumps and ,bumps.
Britt Short Parka – a parka jacket is a school run must have and this one looks very luxurious with its generous faux fur hood…plus it covers the bottom which is a God-send when stood pitch-side on a cold Autumnal day.
Girlfriend Stripe Chinos – another navy and gold piece, these trousers will work brilliantly with trainers and stilettos depending on where the day is heading!
Lennox Jumper – this jumper has a bit of a Bella Freud feel to it…just saying…
Oversized Check Skirt – I love an oversized shirt and I think this would be a well worn [iece in my wardrobe.
Rock ‘n’ Roll Sweatshirt – a pop of pink never hurt anyone…whilst convincing myself I am still Rock ‘n’ Roll whilst I change yet another nappy…
Starla Tie Blouse – this is a perfect top if thinking about what to wear for the Festive period – there, I’ve said it! Christmas is coming!!!
Leopard Cashmere Scarf – this scarf is something which once purchased will be a permanent fixture every Winter.
Rye Boots – as I said, I love an ankle boot and i love leopard print. Tick, tick.
Alford Boots – another ankle boot. This design has a bit more to it than a Chelsea boot yet it is just as wearable.
Dawley Shoes – these are not normally the type of shoes I would immediately go for but the heel height with the cute ribbon tie makes them a change from a court shoe.
