So the kiddy-winks are back at school and a sense of normality has returned to the house. I think due to the amazing weather we have had Summer has been a success! Hurrah! Now we are all settled back into the school routine (I do love a routine), I have taken a look back at the things I have used the most and loved in August.
Buildable Volume Mascara by Kiko – oh my goodness, this mascara is AMAZING!! I feel it competes with high-end mascaras but at such a good price. Kiko often have offers on too so you don’t normally even pay the £9.90 price. You have to try it, trust me.
OK Play by Big Potato – this game has been a big hit in our house. It’s simple to understand (get 5 in a row of your colour tile) but creates plenty of fun and laughter. It is easy to carry around if you are heading out and require instant entertainment which was a bonus in Devon. We all enjoyed playing it and I have gone on and purchased a couple as birthday gifts.
Shimmer Dress by Zara – you may well be thinking this dress is no longer wearable as the Autumnal morning chill sets in but I have worn it with a sweatshirt over it and light tan boots and it works brilliantly. The gold check thread through it is lovely and the style is perfection (for me anyway!).
Leopard print boots from Primark – You can’t buy these online but if you pop into a store they are worth checking out. I have found them to be super comfy and although they won’t last lifetime, they are fun for the current AW18 obsession with leopard print at £18!!
Adhesive Notes by Kikki K – this may seem like an odd one to include but in the build up to the new school year I have been using these notes left, right and centre to remind me what I need to do. For me, it helps when stationery is a bit pretty so Kikki K is my go-to to try and get me organised!
Knee High Socks by Liewood – Hettie gets eczema on her legs so these stop her stretching as well as looking adorable on her sizeable, cute, baby-chunk legs.
Calendula Oil by Fushi – you can spot the oil in the photo of Hettie above (don’t worry Health and Safety peeps, she was not let with the bottle!). I’m reviewing the oil later on this week but it’s fair to say both Hettie and I have been using this continuously for various skincare issues and it’s been a little wonder oil for scarring and eczema.
