Every so often we get a little email from Marks & Spencer and Sparks Card reminder that the Marks & Spencer 20% discount is happening and for the next few days we can practically justify a reason for getting something we have had our eye on for ages and well, now it’s a genuine bargain. Here is my edit of what may be sitting in my shopping basket winking at me and tempting me. Oh and add a Pixi Glow Tonic whilst you’re at it as there is 20% off beauty as well and it’s a bathroom cabinet must have!
Leather Ankle Boots – I actually already have these when I was sent a 20% off boots voucher a month ago but I’ve put them in this edit as I have worn them so many times. They are a perfect heel height for me and are super comfortable.
Block Heel Side Zip Boots – I have tried these on in store and can confirm these too are comfortable but with a higher heel. The buckle makes them look more expensive than they actually are.
Suede Flatform Ankle Boots – no, they are not the prettiest and the word “platform” is horrendous but I got last ear’s version of these (a bit Isabel Marant) and lived in them. They really came into their own during the “Beast of the east” and when we went skiing.
Faux Fur Block Heel Sandals – a bit bonkers and not the most practical but I love them.
Camel Coat – a classic piece which is a great price – especially with the 20% off. Available in other colours its a good time to make an investment purchase which won’t break the bank.
Cashmere Hooded Jumper – it’s always a good time to look at cashmere when Marks & Spencer has it’s discount days and a hooded jumper can look fab under a biker jacket, with a midi skirt and ankle boots.
Corduroy High Waist Trousers – I have the navy pair but I also love the burgundy colour. With a pink or navy knit and loafers its an easy everyday look which ventures away from denim.
Cashmere Bobble Beanie Hat – another piece of cashmere. Ideal for cold school run mornings.
Colour Block Roll Neck Jumper – this has a hint of Me + Em about it – wearable sports luxe.
Long Sleeve Dress – this is the WORST photo of this dress. I saw it on one of the Marks & Spencer press girls when I went to the Christmas Press Day and had to ask her about it. It has an almost matt gold stripe down each side and is really flattering.
Floral Print Drop Waist Dress – I have gone on and on about my blue and pink floral print version of this as it has been one of my most worn pieces so far this season. I would advise going down a size or two but teamed with a knit over the top and ankle boots, it has become a staple.
Checked Midid Skirt – I am not entirely sure why I am drawn to this skirt but it keeps catching my eye. Teamed with a cashmere cable knit and ankle boots…
Satin Round Neck Long Sleeve Blouse – the colour is lovely and this can be dressed up or down – under dungarees or tucked into cigarette pants with heels.
Wool Blend Colour Block Turtle Neck Jumper – this may be a bit too warm for now but as Winter sets in it’ll be a jumper which can be worn again and again…plus I rather like the styling with the leather trousers…
Velvet Jumpsuit – a lovely piece for Christmas parties. I has a beautiful V-cut back and would be finished off perfectly with gold accessories.
Skater Animal Print Midi Dress – I was drawn to the colour (very Autumnal), the sleeves and the neckline of this dress. I also like that the animal print is not too obvious – I love leopard print but there has been a bit of an overdose of it recently.
Velvet Pleated Skirt – I tried this on and it is very flattering and how it has been styled in this photo is spot on to make it wearable during the day whilst also being ideal for the upcoming festive season.
