Skincare | FARMACY Green Clean Make Up Meltaway Cleansing Balm Review

I’ll be honest…I was just having a browse and stumbled across the Farmacy skincare brand. I hadn’t heard of it before but the Green Clean Make Up Meltaway Cleansing Balm looked intriguing so I thought I would try it out.

The Farmacy brand likes to mix science with nature and combines innovative science with locally grown ingredients (they are based in new York). The cleanser uses Echinacea GreenEnvy™ (the brand’s patented and exclusive plant) promotes a smooth, even tone and texture along with other natural ingredients to help exfoliate and cleanse the skin without stripping it.

Maybe it is just me but the word “balm” always suggest an air of luxury about a skincare product when used. It seems to offer a product you will want to linger over and massage into your skin to nourish it. The Farmacy cleansing balm, as I discovered, is just such a skincare product. I look forward to using it and love the ritual of applying it, massaging it into my skin and removing it…what, me, odd? Surely not…

After opening the balm cleanser which appeared as the box around it unfurled like a flower, I found a nifty little spatula with which to scoop out the balm for use (much more hygienic than using hands). It smelt clean and fresh with the pale mint green balm just begging to be used.

Many cleansing balms cause breakouts on my skin but this one, so far, has been a dream to use. As soon as you apply it to your skin it immediately melts into an oil and it feels almost cloud like in its lightness. I usually do a “double cleanse” at night but I tried this out and it did remove all my make up and left me with clean skin which was soft to the touch. Basically, it’s darn lovely and a fab addition to my bathroom cabinet.

Should you wish to try this little moment of luxury for yourself you can find the Farmacy Green Clean Make Up Meltaway Cleansing Balm here…I know, it’s not the catchiest of names but blimey it’s definitely a new favourite of mine!
