Maxi Dresses for Spring

Wow! Over the past week it really seems as though Spring has made its proper arrival. As we all start to peel off the layers we can start baring our ankles and try a maxi dress for some floaty, Spring-like fashion. The bonus of a maxi dress is that if temperatures suddenly drop or the mornings are still a bit chilly, throw over a knit, add an ankle boot and you’re still good to go. So, ditch the jeans for a day or two and try some of the maxi dresses out there at the moment.

Maxi dress

Smock Maxi Dress by Nobody’s Child – this has a prairie feel to it which I love. It’s saved in my basket and I keep going back to it…teamed with a grey jumper if cold or the Superga x Farrow & Ball trainers (see previous post), I think it’s really versatile.

Folk Floral Dress by Hush – this dress will look good worn now with a denim jacket as well as on holiday with some tan sandals.

Split Back Maxi Dress by Ninety Percent – this dress can see you from day to night with the split in the back. During the day add a contrasting cami to peek through the back (a bright pink would look fab). Ninety Percent is a brand which shares 90% of its distributed profits between charitable causes and those who make the collection happen – a great concept with great designs! Win, win.

Floral Silk Liberty Print DressĀ by Arket – this dress just shouts “Spring!”. Too pretty not to include and would work with a navy jumper and trainers on cooler days.

ruffle maxi dress

Ruffle Tier Maxi Dress by & Other Stories – I think the rust/deep orange colour works well on so many skin tones and teamed with blue its a SS19 colour combination!

Dalmatian Spot Maxi Dress by Sister Jane – this dress is one to fall in love with…the print, the ruffles, the sleeves…
