L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Longwear Foundation Review

When it comes to make up bases I am not good with heavy foundations. Most days I wear Trinny London BFF Cream (my review can be seen here) but somedays, and for evenings out I like to use something with a bit more coverage. I try various foundations and do not get through many but I think I’ve found a bit of a winner with the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Pro Glow Longwear Foundation (not the catchiest of names is it?).

Infallible Pro Glow review

I have seen it about on the internet and thought it promised a lot for the rather nifty price (around the £10 mark and only available in America or handily on Amazon in the UK here).

I wore it for the first time for a night out and have gone on to wear it a couple of times during the day. Each time it has lasted well and not felt mask-like in the slightest.

A before photo – you can see I have mild roseate on my cheeks and around my nose and dark shadows under my eyes.
L'Oreal Infallible Foundation review
This photo is taken after applying the L’Oreal Infallible Pro Glow Foundation and nothing else. I feel my skin looks more even, not overly matte (I like a bit of a subtle glow finish) and the sun damage spots are less visible.

I tend to apply foundation with my fingers, warming it up a bit. The L’Oreal Infallible Foundation was runnier than I thought it would be but manageably so. It feel so so light on the skin which I personally love but covers imperfections. I hardly need any concealer after blending it (only under the eyes) which I find amazing.

So, for around a tenner I think you can’t go wrong with this tube of magic. Understandably, because you are buying online it is harder to figure out your match for your skin tone but if it helps I have Shade 204, Natural Buff which is prefect (I am Light/Medium in BFF Cream and TrinTron in the Trinny Just a Touch). Also, if you pop into a Boots and try true Match there is a chart on Amazon to match you up with the right Infallible Pro Glow shade.
