I thought i’d have a bit of a play and do a video demonstrating the makeup I wear everyday. It has to be quick and easy when trying to get the three kids out of the house and I feel I’ve fine tuned it to make sure that if I have 5 minutes to spare, it can be done. I’ve listed the products I use in the video below if you feel tempted to give any a go…oh, and towards the end of the video you will hear Hettie calling for me, hence here being in the cover photo! My little sidekick…
Blur Stick by Milk Makeup – I am not usually a fan of primers as they leave my skin feeling dry and just “odd’. This one is the best I’ve tried and is a doddle to use…swipe, a bit of a blend and your skin is prepped and ready to go.
BFF Cream SPF30 by Trinny London – ah, BFF Cream…how I love thee. You can read a full review here. At the moment I am wearing Medium as I have a bit of a tan but the rest of the year I use Light/Medium.
BFF Eye by Trinny London – another favourite (again, you can see a separate review here). It’s light, moisturises the eye without seeping into fine lines and it’s warm undertone helps under eye shadows look less scary.
Just a Touch by Trinny London – this is a foundation/concealer in one. It’s not heavy and feels light on. The shade I’m using at the moment is “Yes” but usually I wear “Trintron”.
Lip2Cheek by Trinny London – this product is a great 2-for-1 product. I love VeeBee and Lady J which are neutral shades and with Summer in full swing I tend to be using the VeeBee shade more. ANOTHER review, comparing the shades can be viewed here.
Ambient Powder by Hourglass – a makeup product I go back to again and again. I’ve been using it for a good few years now and I have a full size version for everyday and travel size for when going away or out and about.
Bronzer by Chanel – the link I’ve used is not to the version i have as it was a seasonal piece a few years ago but it seems to be the most similar.
Eye2Eye by Trinny London – I have used the “Fortune” shade in this video which is my absolute favourite. I find it really makes my blue eyes pop that bit more.
Mascara by Kiko – a great price (usually around £9.00 but often on offer). It doesn’t clump which is a big tick when you’re in a rush in the morning.
Lip Light by Trinny London – this is a bit of a quick addition at the end. It can be worn on its own or over lip colours to add a bit of an extra dimension.
