There is a Marks & Spencer Spars Card holder 20% discount event starting on 20th February. These events are the perfect time to buy something you may have had your eye on or to simply try something new. If you don’t have a Sparks card, someone willed they are given codes for friends and family – so get asking! It’s best to fill your basket now and then you’re ready for when the code goes live!
I’ll be honest, for my taste I am not loving the styling at the moment…I don’t find it very inspiring but there are some items out there which make good wardrobe staples as well as some pieces to add to your wardrobe. Here is my edit of pieces which have caught my eye.
The Ivy Skinny Jean – I purchased the black pair to try and have been pleasantly surprised. The quality seems great for the price. So much so that I think I’ll bag another black pair as well as a dark blue pair.I also like the look of the Siena Straight leg Jens in White (available here) ready for Summer.
Tweed Slim Longline Blazer – smarten up any look with this blazer. Perfect for a lunch date or pub supper.
Cashmere Hoodie – I think I may have featured this before but with 20% off this is greater layering under a biker jacket, travelling or simply making your loungewear bit more luxe.
Raglan Sleeve Coat – this pink colour is lovely to brighten a dull day as well as see you well into Spring. The raglan sleeve is surprisingly flattering.
Animal Print Midi Dress – I would team this with a leather jacket and trainers or glam it up with a belt and low boots.
Denim Jumpsuit – I love how its been styled here. Perfect with white trainers or platform sandals.
Cable Knit Cardigan – this length of cardigan is being seen a lot at the moment. Perfect for a stylish tuck or layered with a camisole.
Pure Silk Shirt – a classic and can be layered to create a luxurious wardrobe staple.
Denim Shirt – this shirt can be worn as a jacket over a scrappy vest with skinny jeans and sandals as the temperature (hopefully!) rises.
Checked Ruffle Blouse – this has a little bit of Isabel Marant Etoile about it…at a fraction of the price.
Relaxed Fit T-shirt – i bought a couple of these last year and was impressed with the fit. I’m not keen on a tight tee ad this one is a good staple…stock up on white and black…and maybe the navy!
Sheer Mesh Insert Swimsuit – I have seen this style in Stella McCartney. This design certainly does not look M&S!
Plunge Bikini – the emerald green and new design direction for Marks & Spencer make this another un-M&S swimwear option.
Leopard Print Ballet Shoes – these will be worn again and again. Perfect with jeans and a surprising neutral!
Leather Star Print Trainers – I feel gold is another neutral (!) and these trainers will be fab with denim shorts or a maxi skirt and white tee over Summer.
Block Heeled Ankle Boot – these teamed with wide leg trousers or a maxi dress would be perfect.
