Fashion | The Boilersuit

So, the boilersuit…once just the staple of any decent plumber or electrician has made it’s may into the collections of many a brand. It seems to have followed the success of dungarees into mainstay fashion to become a piece which is not only comfortable but can be dressed up or down with the addition of simple accessories. Here are a few which have caught my eye.

Pink Boiler Suit by J Crew – the pink makes the boiler suit less workwear looking. Team with some metallic trainers or slides for a casual vibe.

Corduroy Boilersuit by Hush – Hush use soft cord fabric to create a design which will be comfortable to wear whilst looking effortlessly cool. Wear with tan suede ankle boots for a lunch date look.

80’s Blue Boiler Suit – if Princess Diana was allowed to go for it I think this would have made it into her wardrobe. This vintage piece on offer through Rock the Jumpsuit is as stylish today as it was in the Eighties.

Twill Boiler Suit by H&M – I have this boiler suit and love it. The pale dusty pink and cut is flattering and it looks more expensive than it’s price tag.

Utility Jumpsuit by Halsey – I love the capped sleeves on this design. It would look as good teamed with some simple trainers as is would with some gold heels and layered necklaces.

Lightweight Denim Boilersuit by ASOS – the dark denim will flatter whilst the denim finish will make for a relaxed, everyday addition to your wardrobe. Simply add sneakers and a cross body bag and head off out.
