So, Spring has sprung! The clocks have gone forward (hurrah!), we have had glimpses of sunshine AND been able to sit outside in a group of six, our hair can say goodbye to greys with hairdressers open and we can browse shops other than those with a food aisle! Suddenly, I feel there is an end in sight to all our lockdown woes and good times are coming. As April is well and truly underway and the world starts to open up more and more, I thought I’d take a look back at my March favourites…yes, it’s a bit late but what can I say, I’ve been enjoying the Easter break!
Roxy White Platform Trainers by Air & Grace – I was gifted these but I have to say, they are the most wearable trainers I have. They go with just about everything and add height without being clumpy. Oh, and the silver glitter detail certainly helps put some sparkle in my step!
Liquid Mask Lactic Acid Micro-Peel by Oskia – If you think you don’t have time to be faffing about with face masks then this little bottle of magic is for you. After cleansing at night, I place a few drops on my hands and smooth it onto my face. I then wait a couple of minutes before adding some serum and a face oil over the top. The genius is you don’t have to rinse it off! The action of applying other products after it, neutralises the acid’s affects. Oskia say it’s an “overnight radiance and conditioning peel” (ummm, yes please!), which is about spot on. It really helps my skin to appear smoother and means you don’t need to resort to harsh exfoliators.
Squalane Facial Oil by Indeed Labs – this facial oil is a no nonsense bottle of hydration and calm for the skin. I find it light enough to use during the day when my skin needs some help. In fact, it’s just a great all rounder to have in the bathroom cabinet.
Calm CBD Oil by Grass & Co – this is not new for me but I just feel the need to say how wonderful I continue find this CBD oil. Even the hubby, who can be a bit skeptical of these things felt it helped him have a better night’s sleep. The Grass & Co oil is blended with other natural oils to give it a really pleasant flavour (CBD oil can taste really bitter) and is of a high quality so you can be sure you are getting the best.
Suede Faux Fur Lined Slippers by Marks & Spencer – these slippers are a great price for wearing about the house or pottering about in the garden without worrying about getting them dirty.
Albany Organic Hoodie and Joggers by Baukjen – These pieces have a lovely soft lining to feel snuggly without being bulky. They look as good teamed with a trench coat and trainers as they do with the above M&S slippers when relaxing around the house…and when it comes to being able to travel again they’ll be fab on a flight. You can get 15% off any of the new collection pieces at Baukjen using code MINISMORE15…go and take a look!
The BIG Family School Year Diary by Mum’s Office – now the world is opening up to us all again I find I am having to write and remember to look at a diary again. I am not great at using my phone to organise myself and am much more of a pen and paper girl so, ready for the next school year, I am already using the BIG Family Diary from Mum’s Office to keep track of who’s doing what, and when. The grid system and notes sections are just great at making sure you have all the family’s information to hand.
