I know, I know, floral dresses for Spring…not exactly original but, year in, year out they tempt us into some colour and announce Spring is here. If you shop smart, a floral dress can be worn for more than just one season. Accessorise it with boots, trainers, sandals…belts, jumpers, cardigans…bows, headbands and loose locks. The looks are endless. Here are some of the prettiest dresses I’ve found, all from labels who are non-highstreet and run by strong, amazing women.
Agnes Floral Print Dress by Off On Clothing – to be honest, I love just about every dress in Off On Clothing’s range. This pretty floral just calls for a picnic on the lawn with a glass of rose.
Macy Print Dress by Iris – a lovely transitional dress. Wear with boots now and roll up the sleeves and add sandals later.
Summer Ruffle Dress by Seraphina London – so, so pretty, Seraphina London always produce exquisite designs and this is no exception.
Bianca Dress by Baukjen – I was sent this dress and loved it more on that just looking at it. The sleeve detail and pretty fresh pastel floral print make it ready for Spring sunshine…AND you can get 15% off using code MINISMORE15 at checkout!
Lizette Dress by White Coco – easy to wear and with a flattering waistline. This micro floral print is subtle enough for those just wanting to try a floral print.
Azalea Dress by Faune – this simply stunning dress makes me think of cocktails at sundown on some lovely island somewhere. However, i would happily team it with some metallic trainers so i could get my wear out of it during the day.
Melinda Maxi Dress by Marie & Lola – this dress conjures up images of an English country garden in Summer. The neckline makes it look modern and the ruffled cuff is a lovely finishing touch.
Fern Dress Primavera by Meadows – oh my goodness, Meadows never fail to design dresses which you just want to float around in. This one, with it’s clean floral print has such a pretty off the shoulder neckline for Summer.
Soraya Midi Dress by Dilli Grey – this beautiful hand block printed dress is a perfect alternative to what is a “traditional” floral dress. The cotton used is super soft and gorgeous to wear.
